Germany Approves ‘Maternity Army Uniform’ for Pregnant Soldiers

German Army has 20,000 female soldiers.

German Army has approved ‘Maternity Army Dress’ for pregnant soldiers. It is said that 2% of 20,000 female soliders in German Army is pregnant.

The dress was approved after ‘successful’ field tests last year. 80 volunteers tested a range of uniforms, underwears & tights.

In a press release, it said,

“Our goal in the end is to buy uniforms that best meet the requirements of the users.”

On Tuesday, German Army confirmed the news report by news agency DPA that it plans to buy 500 sets of uniform for 650,000 euros (USD 800,865).
